About
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1986.
At the age of 18, he decided he wanted to make a living through craftsmanship and moved to Hida Takayama. He studied furniture design and production at Hida International Craft Academy. While working as a furniture craftsman for about 10 years, he self-taught himself in woodcarving.
2015, he has been working full-time as a sculptor.
2016 to present, he has held solo exhibitions annually at Galerie NUAGE in Tokyo.
2022, he participated in the Toyooka Young Artists Exhibition (Toyooka City Museum of Art, Hyogo Prefecture).
2023 onward, he has participated annually in the art fair "One Art Taipei" through Galerie NUAGE.
2024, he held the "Art on the Meridian II" exhibition (Nishiwaki City Okanoyama Museum of Art, Hyogo Prefecture).
2025 A solo exhibition of wood carvings titled "The Lingering Charm of a Journey" is being held at the Toriya Bookstore in Ginza, Tokyo, Japan.
1986年 兵庫県生まれ
18歳の時に「ものづくりで飯を食いたい」と思い、飛騨高山へ
飛騨国際工芸学園で家具のデザイン、制作を学ぶ
10年ほど家具職人として勤める傍ら独学で木彫を始める
2015年より本格的に彫刻家として活動
2016年〜現在 東京のGalerie NUAGE（ギャルリ ニュアージュ）にて毎年個展を開催
2022年 豊岡若手作家展（豊岡市立美術館／兵庫県）
2023年〜 毎年アートフェア「One Art Taipei」にGalerie NUAGEより参加
2024年 「子午線上のアートII」展（西脇市岡之山美術館／兵庫県）
2025 東京・銀座の鳥屋書店にて木彫の個展「旅の余韻」が開催されている。
